#WFW2017

Well it was Winchester fashion week this week 24-29 April in association with Hampshire Style magazine, it was set to be an exciting and celebrated week of fashion. With a catwalk....and vintage period fashion exhibits...also quick makeovers to the wonderful passers by of Winchester with award winning personal stylist Chantelle Znideric, fashion editor and stylist Natalie... and myself on makeup.

In the intimate upstairs of the William Walker pub we had our little makeover studio, with clothes carefully selected by the stylist with the themes of festival, special occasion, summer holiday and evening outfits and accesssories.

We were really limited with time today and had about an hour and half to transform 4 passers by. The aim wa to enable them to ask the stylists for any concerns or queries they have surrounding their own style as well as perhaps try something different to what they would normally go to.

For Makeup my aim was to give a quick makeup demonstrating some of my favourite products to suit their skin types, lifestyle and look. To explain what colours would suit them, what products, answer any questions they may have surrounding thief own makeup routines and products.

I applied very quick eye shadow techniques all the ladies, and kept the colours quite neutral, explained about skin tones and how to work out what their own was. I then showed how a cc cream or a foundation can be used  to give flawless flowing skin and how blush can brighten up the face instantly. We also played around with some lipstick colours too, that would suit the outfits they were wearing and their complexions.

I could talk makeup all day and explain how to enhance your features in a beautifully natural way, and techniques I use to suit you. It was great to be able to give people with busy lifestyles tips that they can use daily.

Ths makeover event is written up here in Hampshire Style.
