I don’t know about you but I have always been very conscious of my body odour from a young age. I found that deodorants and antiperspirants were not effective on my pits. I have tried strong ones that have burnt my skin, crystal stick ones, roll-ons that you put on the night before sitting with my arms in the air waiting for them to dry, doubling up on sprays on top of creams! Geez it’s been endless.
Not only did they not really work but I was conscious about the ingredients and what I was putting on my armpits, also the amount of wasted money and excessive packaging that I was contributing to was quite frankly mind boggling.
As a hair and makeup artist I am working pretty close within someone’s personal space. It’s essential for me to not smell bad but also not be overpowering with strong perfumes either.
Anyway enough of the background blurb. My saving grace these days is I found WE ARE WILD deodorant refills. One of my lovely models from a Lucy & Yak photoshoot (best ethical dungarees FYI) showed me her Wild deodorant. So I gave it a go. Let me tell you peeps, I am SERIOUSLY impressed.
